Tucson Roadrunners' Ivan Prosvetov in action
Roadrunners goaltender Ivan Prosvetov earned his first shutout of the season and fourth shutout of his professional career on Friday against the Reign, stopping all 23 shots faced in Tucson's 2-0 win. The Roadrunners skaters in front of Prosvetov were able to reduce the number of shots on goal recorded by the Reign in each period of play, as the 23-year-old netminder faced just five shots in the final 20 minutes from Ontario. The series opener marked Prosvetov's third-straight victory, which is just one away from his season-high four-game winning streak that started his 2022-2023 campaign.
