GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday assigned left wing Jakub Vrana (JAY-kuhb vuhr-AHN-uh) to the Grand Rapids Griffins. Vrana skated in three games for the Griffins during his conditioning loan from Dec. 28-Jan. 4, totaling nine shots and two penalty minutes.
